Kids First Academy is a multi-generation family owned business providing a quality preschool education and childcare program. It is our philosophy in Kids First Academy to partner with parents and keep you involved in your children’s early education and preschool-preparedness development. We aim to guide each child in the growth of their overall personality without compromising their safety and
providing a nurturing environment that promotes your child’s physical, mental, emotional and social development.

Kids First Academy, then, curriculum is made for the whole class and then modified based on individual capability, touching on creativity and analytical thinking, while honing children’s abilities through play-based instruction. We have able and caring teaching staff that through keen observations and participation help a child succeeds in areas that need improvement to develop positive self-images. We like to make sure that your child has the very best early childhood experience possible.

Teachers

Kids First Academy proudly works with highly qualified teachers and are effectively bilingual multi-lingual teachers (Spanish, Tagalog, Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi), teaching and encouraging love for learning by providing a positive environment.

Nutrition

Kids First Academy nourishes its students not only through our program curriculum but also through healthy meals following USDA food guidelines prepared in the kitchen at the preschool.

Security

The Kids First Academy facility is located in a highly secured building with recorded CCTV monitors, and is closed to the public. No admittance is permitted without visual identification through the video monitoring system. Only authorized individuals are given access to the building. Tours are available by appointment only!

Curriculum + Milestone Tracking

Laying the groundwork with a strong learning environment, guided by Creative Curriculum and emergent philosophy, is key at Kids First Academy where children learn through exploration and play with developmentally appropriate toys and activities. We strive to ensure children develop emotional, social and intellectual skills that form a solid foundation and a love for learning.

Our school also provides quarterly individual assessment using Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ), a developmental and social-emotional screening. Highly reliable and trusted, ASQ looks at strengths and trouble spots, and hopes to educate parents about developmental milestones, and incorporates parents’ expert knowledge about their children. transportation

Kids First Academy offers transportation services to and from Elementary Schools in Pittsburg/Bay Point area. Door to door transportation service is also available if your child needs to be picked up and dropped off at home, after school activities, or other daycare facilities in the Pittsburg/Bay Point area. We offer transportation services to anyone, all students in Pittsburg of all ages, even those who are not enrolled in Kids First Academy.
